Potential Facebook/Twitter Challenger?

Flapon (I still struggle with the name) is the first social network I've used that seems like a potential challenger to Facebook and Twitter. I say both Facebook and Twitter because it seems to take features from both. Regardless of the name, bravo for what you've put together so far and for taking on the giants.

My question is:

I want to start telling my friends to use it. I'm bored with Facebook (never really was that active on Twitter). However, what I don't want to happen is to invest a lot of time in promoting and using the site just to have you guys sell it to Facebook the second they throw a seven figure offer at you.

What plans do you have long term? Tell me you're in for the long haul.

Plans... we aren't selling to anyone. In it for the haul!

We want to make it easy for users to migrate data out, and in. We want users to be integrated to their social-graph! Of course!~ We are working on making the development of specialties and building of positive and supportive relationships more fun and engaging as well. Please tell your friends!:-)

@martey - PrivPolicy... it's basic right now, yep. I guess we could make it 'look' better, any feedback on the content?
