Pa Governor Tom Wolf on a Hot Mic – “Masks Are Political Theater”

Representatives of both parties last night in the first debate both agreed that masks are much more than theatre.

Representatives of both parties last night in the first debate both agreed that covid is the cause of death either directly or by exacerbating comorbidities.

They are trying to model mask wearing as good behavior by making sure they are seen on camera wearing a mask.

They are social distanced around the podium & outside so they don't need to wait to take it off until on camera, but they want folks to see them wearing it. Yes its theatrics bc it isn't strictly necessary to wait, they're doing it for political purposes - to increase compliance w/ mask wearing.

That's not the quote.
