Is the mob coming for Charles Darwin?

I mean, how is having Ronald Fisher's commemorative stained-glass window taken away anything like "cancelled"? Are we renaming "Fischer exact test" and everything else that Fisher developed? No. At most we're including a comment that he was eugenicist.
The only way I can figure it out is that "cancelled" means something like "the physical manifestation of a decrease in public esteem of a powerful or well-known figure."
Okay, take Darwin off the £10 note. It ... changes nothing. It's not like that's going to affect sales of his books, his inclusion and discussion in text books, and more.
And those books talk about Darwin's racism already, not because he's "the man of the Left" or to defend him, but because they cover his good and bad points.
The idea that Darwin is a god in "the progressive pantheon" is ridiculous - who is worshiping him, and why does worship even make sense?
Nor am I making a new observation. Here's an SJW evolutionary biologist last July confused about why Noah Carl ("a notorious racist who was fired from a position at Cambridge for racism") wrote a Medium article about this "totally bogus" proposal that Darwin would be cancelled - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiIvCuQQAl8 .
