If the Beatles Used Computers

... and started a decade or two later. Hard for the Beatles in 1965 to write "Unix Man", years before Unix came out.

I am no Unix historian. Looking now, listen(2) was part of Berkeley sockets, which Wikipedia says "originated with the 4.2BSD Unix operating system, released in 1983."

It can't be before socket, which was introduced with 4.1cBSD (says https://man.openbsd.org/socket.2 ) in "late 1982" (http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/src/share/misc/bsd-famil... ).

I'm guessing these songs were written in the mid- to late-1980s.
