Very interesting comment. I've seen this article about Sal before and always wondered why this guy gets so much praise given the awful state of automation on the Mac (at least, compared to what it could be).

I especially agree that Automator was/is a disaster and there were numerous missed opportunities to improve MacOS scripting adoption.
