It sounds like the employee crying wolf made up assumptions about what monitoring is happening and for what purpose. Like with a lot of employee activism, there is an agenda involved and being factual doesn’t seem to matter to the most dedicated zealots.
Do you think employee activism should not have an agenda? If so would they just organize to do nothing - just to hang out?
