That's what's dangerous, not their moronic 'theories'.
Are there any unverified Twitter or Facebook accounts that have merited such broad examination?
It not something to underestimate since the Q speaks in riddles and doesn't give directions the movement is prone to fall into extremism - the most vocal outrageous theories gain the biggest popularity - a cult without leader, makes it quite volatile.
Like the whole pizzagate debacle and morons storming in with guns.
Consider this, people love conspiracy theories. We all consider one or another to some degree. Its something that we are primed to be interested in. Now some people are really hooked on that. To the point that they create whole communities that are convinced earth is flat.
We were all laughing at the 'trolls' role-playing flat-earth society for laugh. Surely its a big joke. Now we have conventions book and Netflix documentary about theory that was disproved by ancient Greeks.
Qanon seems like its a powder keg ready to explode in some time.
”If we have confidence in our own beliefs, we should not fear freedom of thought.” (Bill Vaughan)
Seems like it’s the sort of thing that would die on its own without validation.
Is the attention of news organizations like Der Spiegel providing some kind of validation for the account owner to his followers?
The press has to pay attention to QAnon because it is becoming the mainstream doctrine of the political party in control of the world's last superpower. It matters that global economic and military policy is going to be guided by people who believe the world is secretly run by a conspiracy of satanic pedophile leftists and who trust an anonymous 4chan poster to be speaking the word of God. FFS just look at what happened when the neo-cons and Christian Dominionists were in charge.

You are not trying to convince the cult member they are irrational - this is lost cause at this stage.
You are trying to paint a picture to everyone that might be susceptible to falling it in a hope that they will heed your warning.
My mum started listening to online masses - she was religious but now she is taking it up a notch but worse. She is subscribed to some fortuneteller/psycic youtuber. And it seems she is starting to take it somewhat seriously. And that concerns me greatly.
...and some of those conventions have enough attendees that if they took one evening during the convention, chartered some buses, and had those buses drop people off approximately evenly spaced along the major roads out of the convention city so that they had people evenly spaced 300 miles in each direction from the city, and then they took synchronized measurements of the angle between several agreed upon stars and the zenith, then returned to the convention, they would have sufficient data show that the observers are on a curved surface, and to find the shape and curvature of the part they were on.
The flat-earth people tried to explain away the result, and dismissed it
And I wonder, what's the end goal of those illuminati? To support any dump/bizzare theory and hopefully become part of a new "elite" that enslaves the current "elite"?
It really boggles my mind how all of the sudden, conspiracy theories once limited to a limited underground audience have become commonplace in every day life.
I thought that realization would of fizzled out the movement, but Isiopose they just wrote it off as another conspiracy
