Why Do So Many Americans Believe in QAnon?

I am just guessing, but any time a meme inspired party pops up, that suggests to me that people are probably dissatisfied of the existing parties. e.g. pirate party, tea party, no idea what will be next.

Title is currently "QAnon Is Madness. But Believing In It Can Be Rational."

(Last I saw, "So Many" was only 3%. But I'm not tracking this irrationality.)

The same reason they believe their guns should not be taken away, or that immigrants are taking their jobs, etc.

Because it is a well paid campaign by some big shadow super PAC.

Anything else is controlled opposition, probably planted by the same shadow super PAC. Including this article, which ends promoting "effective yet non-repressive ways of regulating major tech platforms". Riiiigth. That is clearly not a pushed agenda on itself on the same level as gun rights.
