I’d certainly hope so. YouTube is a toxic attention pit for young kids.
You know what made me realize that Youtube isn't evil (just really terrible)? TikTok. Watching my small nieces abandon Youtube for TikTok's addicting 6-15 seconds long videos directly targeting kids (made by other kids!) has been depressing. It's the infinite feed in its purest form and I honestly look forward to TikTok getting banned.
At least, the 6-15 sec format does not allow those toxic "debate" videos. I am sure there will be own toxicity but some yoitube channels targetted at kids were too much about "be cool by being jerk".
Having to deal with that is just layer of frustration for parent.
You want TikTok banned because you or your siblings can't educate their children?
I'm so depressed right now.
You can be glad something happened, without necessarily wanting it to happen, or supporting actions to make it happen.
