Solved: No, GoDaddy did not steal your domain name

A few days ago someone posted a post where someone complaint about getting their domain name stolen by GoDaddy after they search for it on their site.

GoDaddy then posted a response to it.

There they point out that they use past searches to give recommendations for other people that are searching for a domain.

Guess what, the recommendation engine is making it more likely that the domain name you searched for gets taken by someone else. It is not GoDaddy but ,inadvertently, it's the recommendation algorithm they use to help their customers. An unintended consequence. SOLVED!
