Ask HN: Would you consider an open-source alternative to Retool?

So Retool does a lot of things really well, so as a packaged product it makes a lot of sense. But the pricing model also limits to product for how it can be used.

So let's say there was an open-source project that makes it really easy to create UIs for CRUD stuff and maybe add a auth and roles.

Grouparoo recently launched with a open-source license and I really liked how they packaged their offering.

Disclosure: I'm working on a product which shares some similarities to Retool.
