'Scientific American' Breaks 175 Years of Tradition, Endorses Biden

Yeah, nothing good will come of the discussion here. It's too polarizing of a topic.

Also is it really very polarizing - it seems there's a rough consensus about Trump on HN?

Commenters on Reddit seem to think this is a big deal, but I doubt it will have any impact. Not only are newspaper/magazine endorsements virtually irrelevant nowadays, historically they barely moved the needle as well.

It's also hardly surprising that a group of journalists in 2020 would endorse whomever President Trump is running against. I call this a publicity stunt.
