Ask HN: Is there a neutral social networks directory app/service?

Folks, I am considering deleting my Facebook account but I don't want to loose my lifelong contacts and family links from there so...

I wondered if there would be some app or service that is simply a social networks directory with your very simple profile info and avatar with contact groups for you to organize and show your connections and they all link to each of their own social networks they prefer to use (I would understand if it had some primitive chat system too, but nothing more than that otherwise it would be a real social network, right?).

This way we could all stay inside preferred walled gardens but at the same time be reachable and contactable from the outside.

No idea how it would be monetized but... well, any clues if such thing exists and if it's user-friendly enough?
