ZH is the only one willing to report things that others would rather you not know about.
If every so often they report something batshit crazy, that’s a small price to pay.
I don’t see an issue with linking the good stuff. And ZH has plenty.
Well, on the front page at this moment:
"Mile Markers of Tyranny: Losing Our Freedoms On The Road From 9/11 To COVID-19": editorial about how lockdowns, mask mandates and "veiled threats of forced vaccinations" have "merely provided the architects of the American police state with an opportunity to flex their muscles". Cross-posted from the Rutherford Institute, an ultra-conservative Christian group, complete with a Ben Garrison cartoon.
"America's Caste System & 'Deviating From the Norm'": editorial which is "just asking questions" about whether the "culturally elite" are encouraging "weirdos, diversity, and individuality" to "weaken and divide the power of the masses."
"Is the Pandemic Over?": making the case that, uh, the pandemic is over, because "the latest reported weekly death count (August 29) was 370." This article links to an interactive graph at the CDC web site so you can check for yourself. I did, and a cursory glance shows that the article's entire premise is based on using data clearly marked as "incomplete"; the last complete week, August 8th, shows a death count of 6873. The week of August 29th is still marked as incomplete, but the count is now 1594. The answer to the question in the headline is, for the record, "No."
"We're Headed Toward Stagnation Unless The Fed Reins In Its Money Printing": an article arguing that our current recession actually started in 2011 because of "a downtrend in the monetary growth" and warning against another bailout because it will "redistribute further the already diluted real savings of the wealth generators" and how the real solution is, of course, "cutting to the bone government spending." Cross-posted from the Mises Institute, which is known for heterodox economic views, if you're being charitable, or being a bunch of cranky goldbugs, if you are not.
I mean, look. I'm not going to say ZeroHedge never gets breaking news right. But as someone who spent a while digging through the strange rabbit hole of Ron Paul/Lew Rockwell paleoconservative libertarianism, the similarities are really, really hard to miss -- and that mindset is definitely conspiratorial.
You don't have to read many comments on ZH to see what the OP is talking about.

I suppose you just meant to warn against other content there that are inaccurate? Which ones, though? I'm not familiar with that site.
* JEDI contract was awarded to Microsoft
* Amazon brought the case that this contract was not awarded fairly, specifically because AWS was proven to be cheaper for the same capability, indicating favoritism.
* Amazon adds national security director to its board (which is different then giving him a director position in charge of a program btw)
* Amazon provided/provides cloud service to CIA
What is extrapolated without any sort of proof
* Amazon wants to spy on citizens
Be aware of news sources that focus on the latter rather than the former. Because you can also extrapolate that Amazon just REALLY wants the JEDI contract for no other reason than money just as well as you can any conspiracy theory.
ZH has broke (in the bring to mainstream opinion sense) many impactful stories.
ZH has pushed Coronavirus misinformation, Seth Rich conspiracies, and openly labels itself as "far-right libertarian". Of course this unsurprisingly attracts some slice of the HN demographic :)
