I'm pretty sure Hermann Hauser is aware of this, since he co-found and later sold ARM.

He doesn't consider the Japanese conglomerate owing ARM a blow to the UK's technological sovereignty, but he does for Nvidia.

Yes. It's registered in the UK. It still has to obey UK law. So what does the ownership matter?
