Ask HN: What are your favorite tech news sites?

Currently I read HN almost every day, but have lost interest in sites like TechCrunch that focus more on the finance end of startups - e.g. who got funded and for how much, etc.

I'm curious as to what tech news sites do you read to learn about new technologies (software, not so much hardware), advancements in existing ones, etc.

Have a good week!
