What most people miss is that methane (ie from cows) is more than an order of magnitude as impactful as carbon dioxide.
That article you linked also says that the largest source of man-made methane is the oil and gas industry.
Because no vegetable farm ever caused habitat destruction or environmental damage...
That's obviously not true, and also obviously not the point being argued.
