Great link. What assets do Wikipedia have? Looking at that, they’ve made a “profit” every single year. Do they use this to purchase assets (as obviously non-profit can’t distribute profits)?

I just donated a week ago after receiving yet another email that made it sound like they're barely making ends meet.
Now I feel cheated.
it looks like they have some savings now, but wouldn't make it 2 years if they stopped getting donations. it makes sense to me that they would continue to fundraise unless they had an alternative recurring source of funding
That’s the same argument used against voting. Your individual contribution may not matter, but the collective’s does matter.
