tl;dr: Java is the only viable web technology, and all frameworks except @ItsNat are discarded for reasons like "uses XML or declarative programming." It looks like the framework uses an in-server browser to do layout with Java-based event listeners.
This is specifically about Java web frameworks, it would be helpful to have mentioned that in the title.
No, it is about other frameworks...all non-java frameworks are just immediately deemed inadequate!
In one of the early slides, the author decides that Java is the only language that you would ever want to have running in your web server and eliminates all of the non-Java web frameworks at that point (of which PHP and Rail are the only examples worthy of a mention).
Looks to be specifically about itsnat.
This was absolutely a waste of my time. Information was incorrect and the design of the slides made me want to gouge my eyes out.
Let's be thankful that we only read this online, rather than actually sitting through someone delivering this presentation.
If you ask the right leading questions, you're sure to arrive at the answer you want.
Is this a joke? If not, do these people get paid to give these presentations? This thing appears to want to tell me that JS isn't typed and not compiled.
How is REST not mentioned anywhere? A RESTful interface is one of the most useful things about a framework. Sure you can implement it in any framework, but some frameworks are built around REST. This allows native apps and webapps to interface with the same application quite simply.
