I prefer fingerprint too, but just want to point out it's also imperfect. If your hands are at all damp, or sweaty, or cold, the success rate drops to well below 50% (at least for me). It often takes 3-4 tries to unlock if not under perfect conditions, so it's not uncommon that I have to give up and enter the PIN even with my fingerprint-capable Pixel 3.

You must never get condensation on your finger or phone. That scanner is so ineffective with just a little moisture.

That said, I still like it better than face.

Bitwarden supports faceunlock -> all apps with pin support face unlock. Solved.

yeah, but not my banking app, or apps like UniFi's Network manager that waits for the fingerprint read intent before trying the secure store.

It is a lot more than just "password manager == sorted"
