Ask HN: What are the biggest challenges faced when making data-driven decisions

I’m doing customer research for a small product that I’m building.

A few months ago I built a visualization library to allow devs to more easily create dashboards.

Since then, I've pivoted. I'm now focusing on helping people to get access to their data using a common semantic layer, smart-workflows, automation and data-visualizations.

The intent is to make it easier for people at different levels to make decisionS faster based on insights in their data.

Given above: * what tools are you using to help you make decisions? * what are the challenges that you still have when it comes to turning insights into decisions?
