Ask HN: Reddit for Engineering Tips and Tricks?

Hi all - is there anywhere that is a semi-structured repository for people sharing engineering tips and tricks? I feel like we're constantly "discovering" hacks and approaches that I'm sure countless others have before, and would love to share and consume these. Hell, I feel like a good chunk of HN comments are along these lines "This one time doing thing X, I had problem Y and hacked around with solution Z"
