I watched two videos and didn't see anyone innocent getting killed. I imagine to many of the guys it's like a real life video game, right up until they almost get killed. "Kids" get sent to war so you're going to get a certain amount of this. Not sure how to make them look at it differently. A certain amount of respect is missing. Of course if I saw someone burying an IED, I'm not sure I'd be too sensitive either.

"I watched two videos and didn't see anyone innocent getting killed."

What are you implying?

"Of course if I saw someone burying an IED, I'm not sure I'd be too sensitive either."

This article describes several unprovoked attacks by US infantry, the soldiers' total disregard for human life, and the investigation afterward which often led to inadequate punishment of the guilty parties.

Careful, planned murder of an unarmed 15-year old farmer by grenade and gunfire.

Severed human fingers as trophies.

Superiors who conveniently ignored this behavior.

The guilty soldiers' downfall after they beat a fellow soldier for snitching, then threatened to kill him, because "it's too easy."

Oh for the love of..

It's not a story about the military until The Rolling Stone gets involved. I'm not diminishing how horrible this situation is, I've just NEVER been a fan of their military coverage.
