Seeing thousands protesting while everybody condoning it like it never happened is still making me not take this seriously.

A great chasm yawns between what they call themselves, and what they are in fact.

News flash, opposing opinion may have caused doubt in The One Truth, lol.

Writing stories like this is a great way to kill the free press. Just better hope whatever party or ideology you prefer is in power when the censorship comes.

Soooo... Fox deliberately spreading misinformation (they’re probably liable) is an “opinion”.

They were reporting the opinion of many contrarian scientists and doctors. If they are liable for that then they could also be held liable for reporting on, for example, science that denies climate change.

Not to mention the fact that the press as a whole spent two months telling us it was nothing before it became they decided it wasn’t.

No Fox isn’t liable and if you think spreading what you deem is misinformation is a crime you are a Facist.

I think what makes fox different is they internally believe the threat is serious and are respecting various guidelines for controlling the virus, and then encourage everyone else to thumb their noses at such measures: https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/05/12/fox-news-staffers-wil...
