Show HN: Hirenow.io – A vetted talent directory for job-seekers and recruiters

Hey HN fam,

As someone who was affected by COVID-19 crisis, I know the pains it brought. It was especially painful watching your friends, peers, and loved ones being laid off and panicking. I couldn’t sit still and just watch. So with the help from my engineering mentor, I taught myself Javascript and React to make a web-app with the hope to make a small difference.

Hirenow is a tool for recruiters to instantly find quality talent available in the market. Job-seekers can also submit their profiles to be reviewed and posted. There’s already over 350 vetted engineers, designers, & marketers from cities across the United States.

The platform is FREE. The goal is simple. Get people interviews and back on jobs. That’s how I’ll measure success :)

Would love to get some feedback and I’m happy to answer any questions!

Thanks everyone.
