I'm pretty sure the MBPs have had soldered-on components for quite a few years now.
Is it you Elon? DId you return from a few years trip to Mars? ;)
Lol I have never heard this. For me mbp=sodimm and easily replaceable drive while air is soldered on! What year did it change? I swapped my hdd for an ssd and upgraded the ram in my current mbp (which is a Sandy Bridge...)
