New Report Shows Why We Must Tackle Excessive Wealth to Save the Planet

A couple of generations back my grandfather's working life involved digging coal in miserable conditions underground for decades, and he died a slow and painful death as a consequence. My father was stunted from malnutrition growing up in the 1930s, and he died early possibly as a consequence. Looking back at this I think my/my children's generation are entitled to the modest amount of comfort our efforts have delivered. There's also something faintly hilarious about the stubborn insistence of the left that imposing drastically poorer lifestyles on people against their will is ok, at the same time as maintaining that even the suggestion of controlling population growth in the developing world is some kind of horrendous racist taboo.

Shouldn't poor people of different skin colors be fighting each other, instead?
