I like most of the ideas. But unsure which are pragmatic. Like avoiding competition. I don't get it. ELI5 anyone?

It reminds me of Thiel's "Zero to One" that competition is for suckers, aim for true monopoly power.

Instead of fighting with an established contender, create a new space where there’s no one to fight at all.
