Ask HN: Need to track a telephone position. Could be done?

Waked up this morning with a serious trouble. I was hesitating to write, but definitely this could benefit of your wisdom.

I absolutely need to find the location of an old iphone 6 (or 7 I don't remember) lost in Spain as soon as possible or at least to track its position in the last 24hours. Is of vital importance.

Are you aware of any method that could help to locate it, trace the call or estimate a possible area for searching? Any idea can help. Thanks
