By creating or driving discount-rated sales of products/games and donating ALL proceeds to a charity to support the victims, you get catalytic traction of your deliverable.
At a later stage (not related to the timeline of the disaster, but obviously a significant period later), you leverage the highly successful revenue model of in-game micro-payments by releasing premium features or levels, what-have-you to the now substantial user-base that you have.
The only caveat is that a disaster trending in the news is a prerequisite - although, objectively, you are helping the support cause.

I would say this is HN suitable though, it's interesting to see a game developer giving all proceeds to a worthy cause and slash the price too.
