“I wanted to let you know that we filled all of our IC4 roles at Facebook. We unfortunately have to cancel your screen interview.
Please know that I have a list going with your name on it, if we open IC4s again you are one of the first candidates I will be calling.”
If it’s still the same as when I was there, most of their hiring is planned on a 6-monthly cycle, so it’s possible that around July 1 (the start of H2) they would open things up. But it’s also possible that with ad revenues looking bad in the short term, they might freeze hiring or drastically lower hiring for a longer period.
With this said Facebook also has a stigma. If I had a choice between Oracle, Cisco, Google, Amazon, Microsoft.. I certainly wouldn't pick Facebook.
