Google employees are told to expect to work from home for the rest of the year

I wonder how this will affect recruitment ?

Regardless, I am guessing this is going to be the norm for 2020 and will be replicated by a lot of companies in areas where Covid is not yet under control.

Assuming New Zealand goes down to level 2 next week (we have done level 4 and are currently in level 3), my three major clients will be opening their facilities to normal staff who wish to return to work while allowing home working if they want and where possible. Visits between different facilities will still be prohibited but it looks likely by june or july with a fair wind these will be eased too.

I personally am getting used to home working so I may use this as an excuse to cut down on working on client premises however I will miss the office banter
