Ask HN: What certification to study as a developer to work remotely

I am basically a developer. I love algorithms / designing / coding / debugging. Not a fan of doing UIs. Plan to look for a different job in two years, yeah I know long horizon there. Not enjoying my current job, management, but need to stay for 2 more years.

As such I have time to re-enhance my technical skills. Ideally I would love to work purely remote. So what developer skills are most in demand that can be done remotely?
