Ask HN: Any good search engine that isn't Google or a Bing wrapper?

DuckDuckGo uses "multiple sources" for its researches (but mostly external it seems), and most other "alternative" search engines (Qwant, Ecosia, StartPage, etc.) seem little more than glorified Bing wrapper.

Do you know of a search engine that both:

1) is "reasonably good" (ie, you generally find what you look for on the first page, not asking for all Google's bells and whistles) 2) doesn't ask Microsoft for its results?
