All that might explain it. Got hit with Smart Screen on Windows and then an error during install that triggered an abort.
The latest build fixes the install issue on windows. It turns out that one of the node modules had a really long path, causing it to exceed the max path length in windows.

Same issue (Core and Designer instructions are identical) on Ubuntu 19.10 with `sudo snap install insomnia`. About shows "Insomnia REST Client Version 7.1.1"
