What's SVP?

Senior Vice President.

Didn’t know google had so many senior vice presidents ...

job title inflation is a thing.

But not at the SVP level, at least not at Google.

They don't.

Every hire at google needs to be OK'd by a Senior Vice President?

Until 201x (not sure exactly when it changed), every hire needed to be approved by Larry (ref both my memory and https://www.businessinsider.com/google-ceo-larry-page-on-hir...).

Thanks.
