Goldman CEO Buys Two New Private Jets

Could someone who is upvoting this explain why it's newsworthy, either in general or on HN?

I read the article, but I don't know why I should care. The spokesperson's explanation that "A detailed analysis demonstrated conclusively that it would be more cost effective to own the aircraft directly" seems reasonable - all but guaranteed - for a company with as many very expensive employees as Goldman has.

I'm interested in this for general "eat the rich" reasons

Was ordered at the end of last year.

We must have a terrible lack of commercial capacity for such measures to be taken.

Good thing those flights are frequent, and the passengers are all screened for COVID-19 before departure.
