Ask HN: Is GCP offering discounts now(COVID19 crisis) owing to demand for cloud?

Few people from VC backed firms seem to be mentioning that GCP is offering great discounts during this crisis owing to increased demand for cloud IaaS. The aid is to get better sales done for GCP, and prepare for their 2023 timeline.

Want to get to know if this is real or otherwise. Any pointers will help.
