Learning iOS Programming

Hello, I’d like to get into iOS programming; I already have C/C++ and Java under my belt and have worked in numerous projects using said languages. My interests are mainly low level programming, like systems programming, and I have a strong Linux background, so I’m not afraid to get dirty.

My question is; what’s the best way to go about learning the dev-environment of Xcode and what should I go in expecting?
