Artificial scarcity of hospital beds due to certificates of need

I wish they would repeal this requirement. Also if they’d loosen up the regulations against doctors owning hospitals, you would have a lot more to serve the public during these kinds of outbreaks. With limited capacity our current system just turns away people during a spike in demand.
