Ask HN: Could a Handfull of Esp8266 Deauthers Have Derailed the Iowa Caucasus?

50 or so battery backed units strategically placed at polling venues would cost less than 1k USD. I know it's probably not the case but regardless of how it really happened, I can't help but think it may be another possible attack vector that should be secured in the future.
