Ask HN: Is there a full modular hot-swap ATX PSU 800W+?

I'm building a water-cooled hard-line (borosilicate) dual AMD 7000-series virtualization box.

The ones I've seen from FSP aren't powerful enough. I'm thinking about just buying a 4U tower from Supermicro and taking their VRM and dual PSUs and transplanting them into a case.

Looking at cases:

- TT (W/P/WP)(100/200)/Tower 900

- Lian Li

- Fractal Design

I may want to add a bunch of 3.5" HDDs but I may just get a Supermicro 4U JBOD and a cheap-o used enterprise server like a 2U Dell R710/R720.
