Ask HN: Switching from C++ dev to Web dev?

I’m in a interesting situation here. I work for a small startup doing C++ development. I’m one of 2 s/w guys and I like the work and responsibility. Another startup recruiter recently reached out to me about a backend web development position mostly working with Python/Django framework. I interviewed with them and they’re offering me 20% more money than I make and the benefits are better too. I have 6years dev experience, mostly C++. I wanted some thoughts if anyone has been in a similar situation and do you think it’s worth moving away from C++ towards web based frameworks in the long run? I apologize if this isn’t the right place to post this.
