Show HN: Universal Tooltip for Mac. Programmable. Works with Every App
I'm Tanin, and I've made a universal tooltip to help me eliminate clicking and typing. It has been working well for me, and I'd like to share it with the world.
Tip is a universal tooltip that shows useful info at your fingertip. You simply select a text (in any app) and hit the short keys to activate the tooltip with useful info/action.
"Useful info/action" is programmed by you using your fav programming language, and this works with every Mac app.
I have 2 examples that I use frequently:
* Convert seconds/millis to human readable time: https://media.giphy.com/media/f952ZuRG9kqCoxGt8v/giphy.gif
*Select an error stackrace line and open that file with that line in IntelliJ/Github: https://media.giphy.com/media/JSYWptFElQmDJOXzXO/giphy.gif
You can customize it fit with your workflow.
Any feedback is very very welcome, and I hope this is as useful for you as it is for me.
