Ask HN: Greater visibility in US with .co.uk domain?

My SAAS product has a .co.uk domain and a name provider is squatting on the .com. I would like to make my product more visible to the US market (maybe a dedicated landing page). What is the best way to do this while retaining my good SEO standing on the .co.uk?
