People think the company is ran by people but if they step ever so slightly out of the job description (against company interests) they get marked for replacement.
I agree. Also, there are many teams or departments in companies where the humans are following the instructions of a process manual, spreadsheet or software system, without actively knowing how it works. The Company “knows” things the individual humans don’t.
