Show HN: Simple and beautiful profiles outside of Facebook or Linkedin
Hello HN! We'd like to showcase Resulux. For the last three years we have been running You Exec. You Exec is a community of hundreds of thousands of directors, managers, and executives. The one thing we learned over the last three years is that Facebook and Linkedin don't cut it anymore to showcase the careers of our members. Our members were looking for something new -- a better way to showcase themselves. Our members are also NOT designers, NEITHER are they coders. Worst, the DON'T want to host their servers, website, Wordpress, Drupal, Wix, Squarespace.
Resulux is a simple fill-in-the-blank profile maker that allows users to showcase videos, photos, their work -- outside of Linkedin or Facebook! Our members also wanted a SIMPLE contact form so visitors CAN become leads. Our members also don't want to use MailChimp or a mailing list because they are typically not very tech savvy or have any free time, they wanted to be able to BCC all their past-leads via their existing email client.
So after three years of research and one year of development, we've built all the things they asked for, today you now have -- VOILA! -- Resulux. Saimple fill-in-the-blank modules that you can chain together to create a beautiful resume websites that will 100X your online presence.
On a technical side, we are also taking a very unique approaching by chaining together resizable-iframes to create a long landing page. This is horrible for SEO, but ideal for our designers who need to compartmentalize hundreds of JS and CSS libraries.
Thanks HN -- to use the product for free just go to https://www.youexec.com -- enter any email or a fake one and you'll be able to start creating your own resume website.
