It would be far better if you had actual data, rather than an unsubstantiated rumour.
The rumour may have been garbled in the iphone being the best selling individual handset in the country (which I can easily believe on those numbers) -- but it did sound too high to be true.
//And anecdotally - I see an awful lot more iphones on the train/office/friends than Android systems.
