This has been the way I've resolved this for many years with Windows:

Thanks. I looked into disabling Hyper-V but I think there is some IT installed spyware on this machine that squawked when I tried.

Windows 10 has virtualization based security which requires Hyper-V to function, sounds like that is being leveraged.

If that's an issue, I would see about making VirtualBox use Hyper-V for the hypervisor.

Heads up for anyone that uses Vagrant, don't do this because not all vagrantboxes support Hyper-V.
