That’s unfortunate! I’m in the market for a new iPad to replace the one from 2013 I’m using now, and it would be nice to have a full-featured keyboard to use with it.

What does 'decent' mean for you here? Something portable? Or are you more concerned about battery life?

Good mechanical keyswitches and a solid BT implementation that doesn't time out and enter sleep mode too quickly.

Yes, I have a K1 and a K2. I'd prefer a 65% layout, however, and the upcoming K6 sounds more like what I need.

the easy (and free) answer on mac is to use karabiner elements to remap keys.

Between karabiner and hammerspoon you can 'program' almost any keyboard.
